Public Participation provides the opportunity for all role players including Interested & Affected Parties (I&AP's), environmental advocacy groups, state departments, organs of state, and the competent authority (CA) to obtain clear, accurate and understandable information about the environmental impacts of the proposed activity or implications of a decision and provides for role-players to voice their support, concerns and questions regarding the project, application or decision.
Basic Assesment Process for the Proposed Eskom Customer Network Centre, Greater Giyani, Limpopo
Fox Civil & Environmental Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been appointed by Eskom SOC Ltd to undertake the necessary environmental services required for the proposed Customer Network Centre (CNC) at Thomo, Greater Giyani Municipality, Limpopo Province. The so called ‘CNC’ serves as an Eskom base close to its centre of operation which provides technical services to customers. As per GNR 326 of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations (2014, as amended) a Basic Assessment (BA) Process must be undertaken in such a manner that the environmental outcomes, impacts and residual risks of the proposed Listed Activities being applied for are noted in the BA Report and assessed accordingly by the Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP).
Basic Assesment Process for the Construction of 2 Telecommunication masts in Craigieburn and in Umzinto, Umdoni Municipality and eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality, KwaZulu Natal
Fox Civil & Environmental Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been appointed by Eskom SOC Ltd to undertake the necessary environmental services required for the proposed Construction of (2) Eskom Telecommunication masts, a 45m mast in the Craigieburn facility and a 45m mast within Nkonka 132Kv Substation in Umzinto, KwaZulu Natal. As per GNR 326 of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations (2014, as amended) a Basic Assessment (BA) Process must be undertaken in such a manner that the environmental outcomes, impacts and residual risks of the proposed Listed Activities being applied for are noted in the BA Report and assessed accordingly by the Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP).

Fox Civil & Environmental Engineers (Pty) Ltd has been appointed by Eskom SOC Ltd to undertake the necessary environmental services required for the proposed Ndawane 132kV/22kV Substation establishment and construction of 43km Corinth - Ndawane 132kV powerline and Lamington 88/22kV substation Dismantling, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma Local Municipality, KwaZulu Natal.
